Arusha National Park, located just 37 kilometers from Arusha town, is a compact yet spectacular safari destination covering 137 square kilometers. It is renowned for its diverse landscapes, including the Ngurdoto Crater, Momela Lakes, montane forest, and the towering Mount Meru (4,575 meters).

The park offers an intimate safari experience where visitors can combine game drives, nature walks, and mountain adventures in a single day. Its proximity to Arusha makes it perfect for day trips or as an introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife and scenery.

Best Time to Visit

June–October is the dry season, ideal for wildlife viewing, trekking, and photography. November–May brings rains, creating lush scenery and attracting migratory birds, though trails may be muddy.
